yea people dont realize the FE series is a powerful phone, way better than the A5x series samsung phones. An dthe trade in value for the FE phone stays strong even 2-3 years later.

you don't need 180 days service, only pay it for the order, 180 days later after activation, you will be able to get unlocked...

I actually like all the moto phones I've had, but the updates or lack thereof keeps me away

In 6 months there's gonna be S24 and A55. This FE sitting in a drawer is gonna feel outdated while we chase the new thing all over again

You don't need to put it in the drawer, Wi-Fi still works 🤑

Is the S23 FE worth the extra cost over the Samsung A54?

Six months from now S24FE won't be available, that is if Samsung is even planning to release it considering there was no S22FE
Also you can't compare S23 vs S23FE, especially considering prices

I haven't gotten the courage to try this yet. If I do I'm going to use a computer that I just did a full OS reinstall on and then I'll do another OS reinstall after. Maybe, a factory reset on the phone too.
You could quickly set up a VM with e.g. VirtualBox (free). Just download and install Windows without activating a license. When done just delete the VM with 2 clicks. This way you don't expose your computer to questionable people. It's quite safe even if they install viruses or malware, it's all gone after you delete it. Assuming they need you to connect your phone to your computer, you can attach any connected USB device to the VM as well.

Then pay $800 for S24 the A55 will be slower Exynos 1480 and 6GB RAM from metro.

This phone is $100 and only thing that compares speed wise for the price is Boost Edge+ 2022 deal for $150 which uses same Snapdragon 8 Gen 1

I was getting the payment error screen with the s23fe, when I tried it with another phone, it went through. I now have an extra motorola phone I didn't need. lol
i keep getting a couple of different errors when trying to complete this.
I also bought another metro phone under my name about 2 weeks ago. could this be the problem?

Moto will have far fewer updates than this, sadly. Camera and build quality could be better from the Moto. Android 13 seems to have bugs like flickering, not good.

https://xdaforums.com/t/bug-track...e.4574787/

You get 512GB which matters greatly for the Edge, as well as the availability of root.

Hm anyone getting this error trying to place an order?

"Sorry, we are having trouble validating your shipping address. Please try again."

Nothing I change/do seems to help. Is this maybe because i placed an order a few days ago for a A54 (which should arrive today)?

Same for me, I didn't place any order this year and tried different addresses but still its giving the same error.
