yea people dont realize the FE series is a powerful phone, way better than the A5x series samsung phones. An dthe trade in value for the FE phone stays strong even 2-3 years later.

you don't need 180 days service, only pay it for the order, 180 days later after activation, you will be able to get unlocked...

Picked one of these up for $80 with the $40 plan. Kinda shady that every other store has their own shady way of charging more. First store I went to said the $65 dollar plan was required, I declined and tried the next store. Now the waiting game.

Looks like this deal is a no go for me. One store I called said it would cost $500 out of the door. The next store said $216. I told them about the promotion on Metros website but they said that would be the final price.

I just checked the availability of the phone in one of the stores near by and they said $49.99 for phone if i port number to metro and $40 for line and $10 for sim and sales tax. Is this correct? Do i need to activate the line for 180 days? Can i port out number to other carrier after 30 days? Please suggest

You actually get a good deal...many stores charge for $25 for the SIM. you can port out the phone number at anytime
