Is this activated through e-sim ?

Anyone had issues with porting ?
Port my # from Verizon to Redpocket through webpage, got confirmation email in 5 min, pretty smooth.

Why don't we have an option to buy with one year plan plus iPhone?
Anyway phone is locked for 1 year.
Why don't red pocket allows it?
Presumably because the phone is locked to Redpocket and the monthly plan is more expensive than the yearly one so they get more money that way.

RP Coverage / Data and Service is going down the hill. It is using deprioritized service. Please save money and run.

Every MVNO is deprioritized. So what is new here?

I did this last time for iPhone 14. For those thinking about it, it was a hassle and a half to get the rebate for this, in part because their activation service was frustrating to use. The fine print says you need to have auto-pay active for the first three months (or maybe the whole time) to qualify for the rebate, but if you run into problems and have to have customer support activate your line (I think my voice line activated but internet didn't, somehow...), then they do so without auto-pay on (even if you specifically tell them to). If you are OCD like me, that downtime is gonna cause you to lose some sleep for 3 months.

Also, when the actual rebate comes in, you have to log into multiple sites to get it. Instead of sending you a Visa prepaid code by email, they send you a link to register for a third party site where you then submit another request to get a VISA prepaid card, and that card takes additional time to process your request, even though RP says on their website the whole time that your gift card is "ready."

It all worked in the end, but something to keep in mind for those who care.

*Edit: I forgot to mention, when my rebate was supposed to come in, nothing happened. I waited 5 days and started a customer chat request, and the rep told me to just wait and that it was in process. The rebate email magically appeared 1 hour after my support request. Cynical me thinks that timing is too coincidental.
i bet you are very good at your job!

It's such a pain with Redpocket. After so much of a hassle I got my VISA prepaid to be hacked and already used. Now I am back & forth with Redpocket & VISA on how to get my cash back if at all I can get.

I've been on RedPocket before and they let me switch networks due to bad performance.

If we sign up on GSMA ATT and pay 2-3 months, then contact RP and ask to switch to CDMA VERIZON, will the phone unlock 60 days after that point? So around 4-5 months in total? Or will it remain locked to ATT.

When purchasing a new iPhone and doing so with $300 off ($100 instant, $200 rebate), the device will remain subject to our locking policy (12 months) and on our GSMA network. Once unlocked, you're more than welcome to select another one of our networks.

Feel free to connect with us via [email protected] should you have any other questions or concerns.

Question on the unlocked iPhone 24 month credits. If I transfer the eSIM to another iPhone will I lose the plan credits? In principle I'm keeping my number and not changing plans so I should keep my credits but this eSIM thing is new to me and I don't want to get screwed. In the past I would just move a physical sim to whatever phone and the carrier is none the wiser. Does anybody know?

Link to this Unlocked 24 month deal? I don't see it on their site.
