How do these 2 tools compare to other Dewalt drills and impact drivers? Trying to make a good set of Dewalt tools and figuring out what's the best deal out there.

Both great tools, great deal. I'd do this in a heartbeat if I didn't have two DCF850s already.

The drill isn't the most powerful in the dewalt line up but it still has plenty of power and is more compact. Not sure this drill has anti kickback. A lot of the other companies offer anti kickback now. This feature prevents your wrist from getting sprained if you hit a lot of resistance.

The driver seems to be from the atomic line, it's probably one of the smaller lighter impacts dewalt has. Power isn't everything. Sometimes having good ergonomics and being lightweight and having the tool work in a tight spot has its advantages.
