3 main issues with this monitor.
1. Low pixel density (it looked fuzzy)
2. Matte finish
3. Resolution scales poorly. You need at least a 3080 12gb to drive this because turning down the resolution to gain performance isn't really an option. 1080p UW at this size will look terrible.

All that being said... you don't own the monitor, you don't seem to have intentions of purchasing it, and lastly you aren't knowledgeable on the topic so all signs point to you being the troll here.
To note to the people saying they're looking at the Store Display. That's a horribly configured display and looks NOTHING like what I have setup once configured and updated.
First, let me say that I sit 33" from this display and use it for both my Mac and a Gaming PC.
The thing that I found surprising is the fact that LG gives you a free calibration studio in their downloads section. This allows you to use something like a Spyder X for Hardware Calibration.
So I set the thing up at a roughly 35" viewing distance and scaled the font in Windows to 130%. With the previously mentioned settings, I don't have any issues with clarity and the display (If you can sit 41" from the screen and pixel density issues will disappear, so it isn't surprising that I don't find this to be a big issue).
As for the Matte Finish, I prefer that for PC Monitors the contrast is still fantastic.
I know the QD OLED has advantages for sure, but I genuinely prefer this to the Alienware as I cannot stand the 49" 32:9 aspect ratio and the 34" model I have is too small for my liking.
Oh, and that's another benefit to this, it is 21:9, so there aren't really any modern games that won't work with it full screen.

With that said I dont have this monitor. It's in most stores I'd check it out before committing.
Second, they're not 240 Hz.
Third, calibrating this only requires a colorimeter as the rest of the solution is provided for you.
Finally, this is optimized to be a monitor in that it will run the pixel cleaning upon going to sleep and it will go to sleep and wake up instantly.
