I was disappointed that I got the 36 pro and then realized the q8 plus was out there on an insane deal not listed on here few weeks ago. But after I got the q8 I realized its a bit heavy for some things.so the 36 pro I may use more often because it's a tiny bit smaller.
Good deal though, won't be disappointed with this light.
That's a little more, than not much more!
Really fun light. It's as bright as any flashlight ever needs to be. Any brighter and I'd be looking for some sort of light cannon instead of a pocket sized. When turning it on indoors, the turbo mode is laughably bright. It's a flood style light which I find better for camping fun in the wooded area I live in.
I'd definitely rather have an SC31Pro as a normal flashlight, but this one is still cool. I thought it would mainly be a gimmick to play with, but the diffuser makes it into a super useful lantern with extreme battery life from the three batteries.
You should definitely buy this diffuser as it makes it way more useful:

I assume they are pretty much legit 16k lumens, might be able to play pickleball 24/7 with just one of these LMAO, or have 2 and play tennis

I bought both within the last few months on sale. I was out biking riding last night and both are super super bright. The 36 pro is more spot lightly, can shine longer distance lighting up trees along shore. The q8 plus is bigger and heavier than the 36 pro. It is def brighter though and fills a road like high beams on a car. It actually lights up houses on the side of the road more than a car, they are probably like what is going on here.

You can ramp up from very low to max by holding the button. 5000k is pretty cold to me with 6500k being rather blue in tint.
6500k is more in the cool blue range.
Thanks for the info
