This was $129 previously and hit popular, this is smoking hot at 109. Don't forget to price match.

damn, and I thought the $129 was a good price. Didn't think it would go lower so I bought one at that price. Already registered that set for the LSA, so not sure how it would mess with the LSA if I returned that one and bought at the lower price.
this is a great price!

Got this last time at 129, just ordered again.

The panel light and spotlight are both unbelievably powerful. Tks OP!

....absolutely no batteries. And not even a place to plug in a gerbil with a spinning wheel to generate electricity either.

What I'm saying is....you'll need to buy at least one battery and charger to make this work. And the cheapest I found was a combo kit with YET ANOTHER kind of LED light + charger + 2ah battery (smallest they make apparently!)...for $65.

Times that by 3x since you have three tools here, that's $195 + $109 = $304. A hundred dollars a light total cost of ownership. Not such a bargain now, is it?

(and that's not accounting for the LED light that came with the batteries, since now that's sitting to the side without a battery. maybe sell that on craig's list???)

This not the deal to get into the Ridgid ecosystem with. If you already have some Ridgid tools and batteries, then this is a the lowest price I think we have seen on this set.

I would not buy this set if I only had 2Ah batteries. Two of the three lights are battery hogs.

So better go with ryobi? I have a couple ridgid tools but I only have 2x2amp batteries.. on the other hand I have 2 ryobi tools but I have 2/4/6 amp batteries!!

Ryobi will be the cheaper, better value overall if you're just using it occasionally. There's also a 3 set light deal for Ryobi now too for $99.

So you keep extra batteries sitting around unused? That's the only way I see this working. That's pretty expensive, having multiple $65 batteries sit around for a "just in case" scenario.

I mean, if you're going to use your drill's battery to power the flashlight -- how are you going to see what you're drilling when you take the battery out of the light and back into the drill?
I have many Ridgid tools and I think I have 6 batteries. The most I've used at a time is 5. I don't think of it as having batteries "sitting around". Sometimes I use one tool. Sometimes I'm using 4 or 5 and I'm not switching out batteries when working on a project… This is not a tool set for someone not already invested in Ridgid. You should probably move along, nothing to see here…
