These are not the real PYREX of old. These are a cheap rebrand. PYREX, sold the lower case (Pyrex) to a cheaper manufacturer.
Real PYREX is sold in Europe and old stuff here in the US. It will have the Capital letters PYREX!

they might warp and not fit anymore. just like its probably a good idea to hand wash the lids vs running them thru the dishwasher.

Those lids break. I have a few with cracks. Have to get replacements which cost as much as this set. Might as well buy two sets to have spare lids.

For anyone who might need just the 4-cup, there are usually sets of 3 for about $7-9 at Ross, Marshalls, TJ Maxx, etc.

Corning sold off its consumer division decades ago. It's nothing new.

The Pyrex formulation changed while it was still part of Corning, and Pyrex today is still made in the US. So it's not like there's a hard cutoff where Pyrex just became bad.

If the logo is in upper case lettering, PYREX, it's most likely made of borosilicate, and thus safer. The lowercase lettering is most likely made of soda-lime glass, so take extra care after any high-heat cooking. Most glassware products will include warnings so make sure to read about proper handling, cleaning, and storage.

That sounds extreme and not my experience. I've been using pyrex / PYREX for 20+ years, the fastest the plastic lids cracked for me is 2 years 3 months. And that's dishwashing them. If hand wash then much longer.
