There's no doubt that honey is good for throat soreness. I was referring to the minimal quantity in the centers.

EDIT: Now extended to 11/15 - 11/27 (yet still states "in stock"). This is nonsense!
I suppose you can lick a spoonful of honey instead, but it can be more expensive and messier. Meanwhile, these cough drops work to soothe sore throat, from my experience, and also cheaper and easier to use.
I am not expert so can be wrong about this. My understanding is to get relief from sore throat or coughing, you wnat to keep your throat moist. Honey sticks to inside your throat and stays there longer than other liquid or food, therefore honey keeps inside throat moist to prevent you to cough or feel soreness. So, it's not like more honey you ingest, the better result. Again, from my experience, these cough drops seem to do good job keeping inside my throat moist when I am sick.

That's a third-party seller. The discount was for inventory shipped and sold by Amazon. I placed the order at the $2.50 price, but who knows when/if it'll be delivered (yet when I placed the order, it stated "in stock" with limitless quantity!). It went from one time frame to a later time frame to no time frame! Another ridiculous Amazon mystery adventure!🙄
Price is higher (not by very much), but 12 packs is excessive (unless it's a substitute for candy).

Thanks for your input! I've never used these. When and if I receive them (since the delivery date for an "in stock" item suddenly became a mystery, which is bizarre!), I'll likely have good results (as the reviews are basically positive).
I hope it will work for you. I realized I don't really like other kinds of cough drops. Other kinds don't taste good to me. My husband loves that cherry flavor cough drops, but they are more like candies, in my opinion. Of course, any candies can help soothing sore throat if theory is correct. When you are coughing, humidifier will also help.
Thanks! I find that the cherry throat drops that I've tried actually irritate my throat even more (if it's already irritated)!

BTW, they're misdescribed here and on Amazon as "cough drops". They're not! They're "throat drops" (intended only to moisten your throat temporarily).
