The only real benefit if you don't have ibis is maybe better lowlight performance but tbh low light is difficult even with high end gear.
28 to 70mm is 'normal lens. If you want a workhorse, get it. I usually perfer ultra zoom. 28 to 200. Something with more versatility. You can edit in post for color saturation. Beware of color fringing.

Lens cost more than the camera. Check the camera out and see if there is any problem. Lens fungal and mis alignment due to bumps is going to ruin your day. Check for color fringing.

The only problem I have with apsc is short battery life and faster over heat. The newer one has the z100 but still compact.
I went on a cruise, but the a6300 can't handle the in door dinner. So I bought a7s2 for dinner shooting.

I remember when a6000 was good enough for professional wedding photography and video. Some places like church don't like noises. I recommend looking for a silent shutter camera vs. losing the opportunity.
