this power level won't really work on wet leaves very well. dry yes, for the price yes. that said to step up in electric OR gas you'll spend $250-300. some local costcos have the greenworks 80v for 189 with battery which would be a best buy IF you can find one for that price

I have this one. It's good enough to clean off the driveway and to blow out our dry riverbed. It's still pretty loud even for an electric. The four amp hour battery is needed for this one because it really drains the battery worse than my mower.

Regular price, the battery is double this cost.

I have the 40V blower (perhaps an older model than this) and the 40V hedge trimmer. No issues with the tools.

In fact I was happy enough that I wanted to get a 40V pole trimmer (Tool Only) to get to the tops of my tree and it's been discontinued and replaced with an 80V design. *40V with a better is still available)

So just watch these guys with the non-futureproof battery game if you want to buy tool-only later on.

I got a similar blower in 2020 (80v 140mph). The battery failed (flashing red light) just at around the 3-year mark, which is the warranty coverage period. By the time I was able to reach Customer Support, I was out of warranty by 5 days. Lowe's/Kobalt denied my claim. #neveragain

This is $40 cheaper than buying the stand alone battery.

I bought a craftsman 20v blower second hand for $5. (Mostly for the two extra batteries since they work with my drill). Charge lasts 10 minutes per battery.

So the charge on this will probably last 20 minutes.

Get a plugin or a gas powered would be my advice.

I have the Lowes Kobalt 24 volt older series (blower, hedge clipper, weed trimmer). The blower works great. You'll want to wear hearing protection and eye protection and a face mask as it is loud, blows up a lot of dust and pollen!

I use it to air blast the car before and after washing. Do the weekly air sweep of the drive way and the front lawn. I usually need to swap a 4 amp battery pack 2/3 the way thru. Best to have 2 batteries you can alternate between.

Can I use this thing to dry my car?

If you want to sandblast your car, perhaps? The trigger is very reactive, so in seriousness, it probably could be used for this application.
