Can I use this thing to dry my car?
That's what I use it for. It's plenty strong and lightweight. There's a lock for the trigger that can be engaged so that you don't have to manually hold it down at full power the entire time.

yep, batteries aren't cheap, it's like getting a free leaf blower, especially if you are already involved in the kobalt ecosystem.

I dunno...I got 8 years out of my Makita and have yet to replace my original 3aH batteries. The Makita was 289$ at the time, but still...better product and better longevity. These off brand types are never worth buying as they are all geared toward the homeowner or maintenance guy buying on some rich guy's dime. Better to invest in a tool eco system that is used by tradespeople. Word gets out quick if their stuff does too fast.

I'd agree but the Milwaukee M18 blower/battery combo's never get to this price. Sometime you just need a cheap sulition.

Going to use this for fall golf. The leaves on the greens and finding your ball in the rough with all the foliage is a nightmare.

I've had this for years, it's pretty great. Occasionally I wish I had an 80v but it gets the job done and I'm probably better off with 40v because it's lighter anyway. Solid price

I'm in for one. I have the nearly lowest-end 18v Ryobi blower that works but is somewhat frustrating, even on concrete. Would have preferred to avoid adding another battery system but at $99 for 40v brushless, this seems like an impossible deal for Ryobi 18v to ever beat.

I purchased this on sale a couple days ago and am super happy. Was very close to buying EGO for 2 - 3 times the price and took a chance.

Bought it to blow fallen leaves and olives off our patio and pathways and to blow leaves and debris off our pool cover before opening it. It works great and does everything I need it to. It has no problem blowing sometimes wet leaves stuck to the pool cover as long as I target them. Still on the first batter charge after a couple days

I'm sure the Ego's are more powerful, especially their big dog 765 cfm however at $99 for the Kobalt, I couldn't justify the additional cost vs performance increase.

Guys, isn't it better to get the one where it sucks up the leaves and chops it into small pieces while collecting it into a bag for you? With these blowers, you're just pushing your leaves towards the street or your neighbors property?

I have a similar 40 volt blower, maybe previous version. Hangs in the garage ready to use and I use it all the time, specially in fall. Blows equal to my previous 2 stroke gas powered one with no hassles. I have several batteries because I bought a bunch of the Kobalt 40 volt stuff in similar sales over the years. Considering this just for the battery.

Neither, run them over with a mulching mower, first rain they will disappear like it never happened. Use the blower to get the leaves away from the house and landscaping and into the grass. Option 2 is run them over with the mower with a bagger. Spread over your wood mulch, compost bin, garden, or dump into disposal bags. Both ways much quicker then traditional gather and bag.

Some people think it shouldn't break because they paid for them.
