Recommend Sennheiser e835, it has better sound than shure sm58.
Also the price difference, I personal own 4 wirelesse mic Tonor wireless and 3 wired one sm58, e835(those model has wirless model but too $$).
The price would tell the difference.
try e835 it is completely different world.
Sidenote, but I also got a bad one I had to return. It had a loose or short circuit with the battery. When you screwed it all the way together it wouldn't power on. If you loosened it just a little, it worked.
Net result, I wouldn't trust these for any critical application, but fine for casual use
The altec lansing soundrover we got was well-heard by our 100 guests at our OUTDOOR venue, and we found the cheap-o Amazon mic set to have better volume than a plug in mic (likely as they're amplified with batteries).
