Can't believe it's almost 2024 and Apple still wants $450 (normal price) for a device with 64gb memory and not expandable

I was tempted to do this "cancellation hack" here to get a screaming deal but, after consideration, felt like it wasn't ethical. The terms listed clearly state the 15% discount is on the case, not the tablet. Cancelling to trigger a software bug that effectively shifts the discount onto the other item seems equivalent to the cashier handing you a $50 instead of a $5 and just taking it and walking away. You can justify it by saying "they wrote the software, they entrusted the cashier with the till", but that doesn't make intentionally exploiting it right. Just a random person's 2c

For that price I'd go with the iPad Air 5th gen.

They fixed the 449.99 Target rewards error to reflect 499.99 for the 256gb

In for a 64gb version for my 11 year old. He is currently doing okay with 32gb 6th gen so 64gb should be a good jump and get him by for a few years. Would rather just save the $150 and put it towards a iPad 13th gen in a few years.

$150 jump is just way too much for a 256gb that only cost them $10. Personally 128gb for $399ish would be the perfect storage/cost combo for most people, but Apple knows that and just wants to up charge for the 256gb.

OP needs to explain offer needs to be saved either from target circle or on product page, then sale price will be reflected at checkout. See screenshots

I did this morning. Email said $100 off and was $499 in my cart but my target circle app stated $449 for the 256gb 10th gen. I started a chat around 8:30am est explaining that my target circle offer page said $449 and asked if they would honor that price. They looked into it, came back saying it's $499 and asked me to check again. It was still showing $449 so I sent them a screenshot. They claimed it was a "technical error" but told me to place the order and they would refund me $50 which they did. Ordered for store pickup in NH (tax free) and got it for $425 after 5% red card. Checked a couple of hours later and they fixed had the circle offer to say $499.

Two left at my store near by. Got the 5% off and used $210 in saved up gift cards. Needed an extra iPad since my 2yr old won't share with the older siblings - kid is a tyrant. The 64mb is good enough for what they use it for and can leave my wife's pro alone. An extra $200 is steep to go to the Air if it's for a kid.
