I'll bite and use the foam trays in my tool box. I dont have an issue with hft, hart, etc. Tools can substitute in Clint's famous line "A man's got to know his limitations." I use the easy to exchange tools on the m18 impact and the breaker bar. In for 2.
Same stuff, different brand. All from the same factory. Pick a brand you can get warrantied same day in store and be done. I personally use Husky ratchets and Milwaukee sockets. I haven't had an impact socket break, but I've had plenty of ratchets die on me.
In for one. These are going to be dedicated to a tool chest in my garage (oil changes, lawn equipment maintenance). The small Husky set I use now will become my "mobile" kit.
