Just got an email from ASUS with a generic coupon for the Z1 Extreme model for $100 off making it $599 instead of $699.
I personally have a Steam Deck and am happy with it, but after researching and seeing a popular (
+58 deal) from BestBuy for the same price, but requiring a Total Tech membership, I thought I'd share.

Coupon: NC100 during checkout.
FWIW, I tried it on the non-Extreme model and the coupon code did not apply.
Coupon code per email ends on Nov 8th, or "While supplies last."
edit: Although coupon stated through Nov 8th, it is still active on Nov 9th. YMMV on how much longer it's valid.

Steam deck is great if you like playing older games and emulate.

I completed RDR2, Cyberpunk 2022, and the god of war on SD. Didnt feel like I was missing much
Truth. I'm in that boat....and always still searching.
Cyberpunk 2077 was in 2020.
God of War is a rerelease of a ps4 game. I suppose technically it counts.
There by not proving my point. At least you tried. As person who used to visit the steamdeck reddit subreddit. There is always some guy that claims they enjoy a recent AAA game but never talk about the fact that it was sub 30 fps.
I noticed how you never even bother listing what settings you used.
But hey at least you tried.
Must have been mislabeled then, that sucks.

Your opinion is that the SD can't do AAA... As for the numerous owners that don't hold your opinion, see this for a list of recent games that play fine on the SD....

Nice to hear it went well for someone. I may just hold out for the lenovo.
And whoever thumb me down, you keep licking that Asus boot
I'd expect Lenovo to have better support of their Legion Go on the fact that they actually have a decent support team.
I feel it is well worth the money for the performance and convenience of every Windows game just working. Steam Deck is great as well. Just glad we have good competition and prices for handheld PCs and we can thank Valve for that one.
