It actually has almost 5 stars from 11k+ reviewers on Amazon. Im not sure if were looking at different items.
I bought this last week actually after my 15 year old Samsung crapped out. On a budget so pulled the trigger, installed on the wall and used same day from delivery. Picture is very clear, integrated fire tv has no lag, cannot go wrong for $199.
It's a good tv, this is dumb! One of the absolute worst takes I've seen about reviews! 😂

Is this better than buying a normal TV & using chromecast?

I have about a 15 year old Samsung 50" 1080p midrange plasma that I use maybe 3-5 times a week as my primary tv. I'm perfectly happy with it. Other than "4k" will I notice an actual "upgrade"?

I'll wait for black Friday. Last year bestbuy had a 55" TCL QLED for $199.

Must resist. Have too many TVs, recently took a half dozen of them to a landfill

i got the 55" version of this 2 years ago. For the money, its a great tv. Picture is great. That said, i'm in for this 50" as well. We use fire stick a lot, so this is great in that theres one built in.

I bet you that 15 year old plasma is not a smart tv. If it isnt, then this will be an upgrade.

Also you might save a couple bucks on electricity bill. Plasma tvs are notorious for high energy consumption.
