Menard's also has them if you have one nearby.
Can confirm. Menards is a bit out of the way for me, so these are the only thing I buy there. They have a good variety of wire count and size options as well.

Just a note, double check what amps you need. Just got the Wago 221-612 Wago off Amazon which does 41 amps. These are only rated for 20 amps. Good deal though.

Anyone used these for speaker wire? Gotta be great right?
I've used them for just about every type of wiring. Anything they are rated for, they are super great.

The single minor and avoidable pitfall is making sure you have the right amount of wire stripped. There's room for error, but wire nuts are slightly more forgiving about that aspect. I love these little things.

Those have been around for a long time, and if they were as great as you claim, they would have taken over the industry, but they haven't. What Ideal has now is a true lever wire nut to compete directly with Wago. https://www.lowes.com/pd/IDEAL/5014013115
One of us owns a large electrical company, one of us doesn't. Thanks for your $.02

old timer hates WAGO and claims they are not as sturdy as wire nuts.
The earlier versions were pieces of crap. They wouldnt stay connected, had problems with hot or cold temps, and had a high resistance problem. But they've been pretty solid for about 10 years now. Better than those push-in types like Ideal still makes.

i absolutely love using these, but a 100 pack of 2 wires wouldn't be what I was looking for. If this was for 3 wire connections, I would be all over it, but i will never use 100 2 wire connectors.
In the wago variety pack, The 2 connectors are the ones I ran out of first

I have used these to rewire my AC compressor while standing in the sun and it was amazing. I've yet to use them for switch and socket replacements, but I can see the attraction and would have no qualms doing so if the situation presents itself - especially if a stranded connection didn't make me feel warm and fuzzy. I also wouldn't have any problems with the Ideal version, but I'd save the generic knockoffs for temporary low-voltage stuff if I even bought them.

With that said, I'm not sure why I would want a 100-pack of 2-wire connectors instead of an assortment that included 3/4 ... unless I had a whole bunch of stranded-solid connections to make, in which case they'd be terrific.

FYI, this is the regular price all the time, so I wouldn't call this a deal. I was in need a few ASAP a few months back and even though it would've been better to get this, I opted for a worse deal for $10 from Amazon due to urgency and the ability to get it it sooner. These exact ones were the same price (or possibly a lil cheaper by $1 or $2, can't remember) way back in June/July. Good post for awareness I guess, but just my 2 cents.
One thing worth mentioning, though, is that Amazon combines its inventory with its sellers… And fakes abound for stuff like this on Amazon… So buying these things there might cause you to buy fakes, even if you buy from Amazon… Shipped and sold by Amazon… At least with Home Depot you know you're buying the real thing.

The fakes are also generally pretty good… but if you're paying for Wago you want to get that quality as they are actually certified/approved, while fakes may not be.

These wagos are the 221-412 which only allows for 24-12 gauge wire if anyone cares about that. While the newer version is 221-612 which allows for 20-10 gauge. All in all this deal is a good deal as a 100 pack is usually around $40.
Do they sell these connectors for 6 gauge wires ? what's the best connector for 6awg wires in your opinion ?

Do these get too bulky in outlet or switch boxes? Especially if you have a lot of 3 way switches or dimmers?
You can buy deeper boxes if you're doing some new wiring, but I generally find them less bulky than wire nuts. These are flatter than wire nuts, and I can usually shove them to the back without much of a problem.

For what it is worth, I got these on July 10th 2023 for 22.98. Seems like they drop in this price range pretty often. Also, the 3 wire ones are more useful as far as needing 100s of them. 2 wire have somewhat limited usage.
Any MasterE out there with opinions?

Of course, Wago is the name brand when you think of push connectors, but their competition is now equal to their quality. You guys are going to be really sad when you have a bunch of these laying around and can't use them because they can only take 2 wires. If you are just stocking up for future, ideal's in-sure's are the way to go. $.01 more a connector however they have 4 ports. You can also use your fluke test lead to release the wires if you mess up.

Push connectors are a little more difficult to use. Not sure that they are rated for stranded cable like you get in most lights these days as you will probably have to twist and push a few times to get a good connection. And technically they shouldn't be re-used.

Wago are cleared for stranded cable and reuse. I don't think most wire nuts are.

This is an awesome price per lever nut. But I doubt any house needs 100 two wire connectors. It's worth paying 2x more per piece but getting an assortment.

Great point, didn't even consider that since that's getting dangerously common. I could've used regular wire nuts anyway, but wanted something "sure-proof" at the time.

I was putting bulky dimmers into an older three gang box that was pretty packed this last weekend and my 2-3-5 connection combo pack of these saved the day. Flatter, and you just don't need as much wire length to get it connected especially compared to wrestling a 5 wire connection with a wirenut.
