Missed the better deal at Boscovs. But Costco.com just lowered their price for the set to sub $100, which is the 2nd best for a long time.

You must live in a rough area with those statistics. I do believe some stolen stuff goes through Facebook but nothing like those numbers. My area sees big numbers in Amazon pallet returns.
By the way if you don't mind a slight hit in quality you can get this set on Temu and have it in a couple weeks for $40. Just got a set in the mail, even has Ford stamped on the front of the car.
I am sure there are a lot of stolen stuffs on FB marketplace. However there are also some legit good deals to be found. I have picked up nice sets from kids who got it for birthday and didn't want it and yes I talked to the mom and picked it up at their house. You can easily see which seller is shady and which is legit mom getting rid of stuffs. I have scored brand new UCS Millenium Falcon picking it up from inside someone house and we looked and talked about his collection. Check seller history and rating. The sketchy one seems to always be new account, meet in public, and want cash. Legit seller doesn't mind you picking up at their house and often open to take Venmo/Zelle.
