This is a good deal. The non digital version of this heat gun is about $35 at lowes, which I have purchased, and it's a solid tool. When you pick it up, you'll know what I mean. Feels like money well spent.. It also has a decent case and all I believe totally worth purchasing at this price for the digital version.

Not sure what this means, but this "deal" is by far the lowest price in 6+ years of price tracking on Amazon. The next best price appears to be $59 at Northern Tool w/ free shipping on $100+.

Just get a harbor freight heat gun. Extra bells and whistles aren't necessary for this tool.

I used this on a small outdoor section of my home heating oil line when it froze last winter and left us with no heat at 20ยฐ below zero. Hearing that furnace turn again was amazing.

The huge range in temperatures could be nice for using it for different application, I am in for one since I needed a heat gun anyhow. Thanks OP!

Dang, missed out. Unlike most things on SD, I actually need one of these for a project this weekend...

I use heat guns to roast coffee. The extra bells and whistles are entirely necessary.

Ah, but it's not. There's a large community of people who roast coffee in modified bread machines using heatguns as the heat/air source. I have about $80 into my setup and can roast 600g batches (or about 5lbs every few weeks). A commercially made machine with this capacity would cost at least $1000 (and really the only one that tempts me is about $3000).
