Good prices, the U7k is the sweet spot for price and quality. This is inevitably going to be asked, the U75k is just Costco's version, which undoubtedly is the same as all other versions (but better warranty, which is worth something). The promo is literally worthless to me, but you can always use it to test settings or ... something. They never give good games in these promos, give me AoE or something next time!

Hmm super weird. Box was sealed as expected for a new tv. Opened the top to get the top foam piece, legs, and manual out but the bags for the feet are torn open already. This better not be a returned unit.

fk there's also a large horizontal scratch across the middle of the tv horizontally. i hope it's only in the screen protector that we gotta peel off but wtf is up with all these probs already. dunno if i should just ask for a replacement ugh


edit: finished setting up. it was just the screen protector that was scratched. no issues with the panel itself. looks great. bang for the buck for sure.

Many home home theaters use Nvidia shield for Dolby Atmos support. If you don't have an atmos setup the Apple TV is hard to beat.

So it looks like the Hisense manufacturer warranty is 2 years based on their specs and Costco will add a 3 Year Allstate Protection Plan. Does anyone know if the Allstate protection takes affect at the end of the 2 yr manufacturer warrany so as to provide a total of 5 years of warranty. That seems to be the case as described on the Costco site here: https://www.costco.com/allstate-3...60857.html

Edit:Looks like maybe the 3 year AllState warranty is not included for this deal. Not sure how Costco is accounting for the 3rd year of warranty.
