Total crap. I've gone through 5. They always break down around 6 months. Get at Costco for the warranty.

I bought my K Supreme Plus from Costco 3 years ago and it has been working fine. I do descale it every few weeks when it shows up on the screen. It's a great machine.

I have a probably 8 year old one from Costco. It is super loud compared to my friends. Thinking about getting new. Old one has never been descaled but I only run filtered water through it. What does the descale process require? Is this a new way to get us buying another consumable?

You can buy a descaling liquid for your Keurig but I just use vinegar. There are many YouTube videos for it. The whole process probably takes 20 odd mins. I "feel" the coffee tastes a bit better and hotter after I descale it, it may be just in my mind though .

Often on sale at Costco for $99. My First 2 broke. Third one broke and I actually fixed it with help of this video. (Machine wouldn't turn on at all - dead!) happened another 2 times and fixed again. It's a reset button on the thermostat heating coil.

Be very careful with what you think of this deal. It is not what you hoped for. I got suckered in a few years ago. To get this price and I quote "Offer is only valid with 12-month purchase commitment of 16 boxes of 20/22/24CT or 16 bags of coffee, delivered over 4 orders with a minimum of 4 boxes/bags per order through Auto-Delivery. If the 16-box commitment is not satisfied within 12 months, Keurig will charge you the remaining 50% of the list price at the time of the original purchase of the coffee maker." You have been warned.

My cuisinart k cup maker just won't die. I'm always considering buying one of these keurigs as a backup in case it does. But it's been going 3 years strong.

If you use filtered water (I use Brita at home) then you don't have to descale it frequently. I was descaling frequently when I was using just tap water.

Exact same thing for me...bought at Costco, first 2 died and 3rd is in route from a warranty replacement. I suspect it was the same issue you had but I'm not about to open up my brewer to reset it while it's still under warranty. I'm pretty good with repairing electronics, but with how cheap these are made, the risk of breaking plastic parts and whatnot is not worth it. Regardless, there's no way I could recommend either of these since I've owned both. I had the non-plus version prior and it died just out of the warranty period so I tossed it. After this experience, I'll never buy another Keurig product because I was fine before when using a electric kettle and a French press/pour over.
