What's the equivalence of 17W and 18W in mAh?

When your phone battery is rated at mAh like 4800mAh, how do you identify how quickly the phone will charge with 18W charger as opposed to something that says 2.4mAh which means it will charge from 0 to full in 2 hours or 50% in 1 hour.

I pulled all my old chargers and plugged them in and used ampere app to check them, they varied from 800mAh to 4.3Ah (samsung charger). I can tell exactly how quickly it will charge the S22 Ultra and the other phones I have around.

Any cheat sheets or recommended reading on this matter?

Charge speeds will depend on the volts and amps the phone battery draws to charge. You can use a calculator like this one: https://footprinthero.com/battery...calculator once you know those values. You cannot directly turn Watts into mAh, becasue Watts are a product of volts and amps. mAh is a measurement of the number of miliamps per hour. If you knew how many amps the battery is drawing in the charge cycle, you could calculate how long it takes to charge the battery. Charge time = battery capacity (mAh) รท charge current (mA).
Another issue is the manufacturers often just list the charging Watts, likely because most chargers are now variable amp/voltage based on the phone's draw. Other factors include the cable's ability to carry the amps. The battery charging performance is also variable based on its conditions. Phone battery temps are monitored and charging speeds varied on the temps. Basically...it's really hard to say with all of the variable conditions.

One way to get a rough sense of how quickly a charger might work for your device is to look at its output voltages and currents.

This charger can spit out the following in the main USB-C port when using multiple ports:

1.5V * 3A = 4.5W
9V * 3A = 27W
15V * 3A = 45W
20V * 3.25A = 65W

On paper, I don't see any reason why your S22 Ultra wouldn't be able to handle 45W using this charger and the right cable.

This means "Super Fast Charging" should work and you can expect quick recharge times.

I feel like an Amazon white label would have marginally better QC right? I'll wait for the electrical experts in SD to chime in lol they always go deep down the certification rabbit hole

This charger does not have pps therefore will not negotiate "Super fast charging" with Samsung. Source: I have one

Same here...my initial thought is if I have pick one, I go with Amazon right off the bat instead of the Teklet brand which sounds like from China. Sure sure the Amazon brand is from China as well...but still, I'd go with Amazon rather than the other one. But, I'll wait for the experts here to chime in before I decide to buy or not...been looking for something similar to this... hopefully Anker has a sale soon.

Better recommendation than the "Teknet" one. Get the same exact charger with a Monoprice badge on it and white color for just under $3 less:
