Vizio has no factories or R&D facilities but sublets their orders to 3rd-tier OEMs (for example, Dongguan Ikinor, Guangzhow Lianjie) in China, whereas Tcl and Hisense are the 1st-tier manufacturers with indigenous panel/chipsets factories. It's beyond rediculous to compare a trading company (Vizio) to real TV makers.
Its a 70" for $399, at most you may see another $50 less IF you are lucky or extremely YMMV. Typical clowns on here talking about HODL. If you need a 70" then this is a great price. Buy it and enjoy it. Let the clowns keep waiting for something that may or may not happen.

Wish we get deflation. But it's just not going to happen with all the money printing.
They have to borrow that money and when long term yields rise and that money comes out of assets and into bonds - it's like a money supply vacuum. But hopefully with deflation it means we borrow less.

If this was a roku tv, itd be a great price. But google os is just ehhhhh.
Fool me twice shame on me. There won't be a third time with google tv os though.
There will not be a 70" for less than $399 but you do you!
I feel like there might be. I bought my 65 inch tcl Roku tv for $230 last November. I'm willing to bet you can get one for $300 at some point this month.
That was an example. You'll a bunch of threads for it since it came back a few times. It was a lot easier to get than many holiday / black Friday deals.
At the same time period there were also a bunch of 65" TV deals for about the same price.
yep news sells based on negativity- do you really think anyone would watch the news if it was all about spelling bee champions and people making too much money??? junk like wars and racism draws viewers, wake up people and stop watching toxic news channels!
10-4. I'm just shy of 62 years old and I've been thru real recessions. This is the mildest of all, if it is even a recession. No overall market crash, unemployment still low, those with savings can actually get decent CD rates. Food and fuel are coming back to 10 year average prices. Historically savings rates were about 5% and home mortgages 6-6.5%. The last decade or so was way out of balance and is why the economy is running so hot. I guess crypto miners are crying about the economy as they can't "print" money anymore. For me it was fun while it lasted. I got in late and got out early. Made a profit--which is all that matters.

I bought one of the first 35" Tube TV's made by Mitsubishi back in 1985. I worked at a TV/appliance store in NY. Paid cost $3200. Had it for almost 20 years. Went from 2 apartments in NY, to Florida, to North Carolina, back to Florida. Prior the largest TV was 27". If you have to think about $400 for a 70" TV beyond --is it a good TV, will I enjoy it..go back to school and get a decent job. I only care about a GOOD deal today, not what might happen in a month or two. My enjoyment has value...and time, as you get older..is irreplaceable. That's why I'm retiring at 62 anmd taking MY social security...yes it will be less...but I have money....time is limited.
