I spent hours trying to dial this in. My unit was off by 5 degrees and it's very challenging to balance the adjustment on both ends. Decided to return and use my circular saw with a straight edge, which produced a much more consistent cut than this track saw.

It's a tool created for accuracy but not delivering accuracy. It's like homeowners buying a jointer, but it's not helping collect the garage dust.

Ryobi needs to improve this unit for those who invested heavily in their batteries.

That's not a one-piece 55" mentioned in the post he was replying to. Though even these "two piece" extensions were hard to find for a long while.

As is, with these short segments, if you want to rip a sheet of plywood the long way, it's 34 individual pieces (4 sections, 6 connector bars, and 4 grub screws for each connector bar)...way too many to futz with and that all have to cooperate for a straight cut.
