How is this a good deal to you people? The other deal was two 5 ah batteries, AND a charger for 199.

This is 3 more Ah worth of batteries for 80 more, and doesn't include the charger that the other deal did.

The 18650s on this blower are horrible. You really need the 21700s in the HO batteries

It's not about having a charger or not. It has a value of around 25 or 30 dollars, if you sell it. Combine that with only getting 3 more Ah for 80 dollars, compared to the other deal, and this isn't good.

If you don't have other batteries that you could use with this, and take advantage of the other deal to use the 5s on other tools, I don't know what to tell you…

As far as 18-20V blowers go, this thing is just okay. The air output all the way up is okay after mowing the lawn or to blow off the patio, but I struggled drying a car with it. I bought the 199 promotion with the 2 x 5 Ah batteries and ended up returning the whole thing, and I've got quite a few Milwaukee 18V tools. The blower is fine for light work, but was inferior even to my Kobalt 40V blower that's 7 years old with about the same weight.

The double battery Milwaukee is hilariously expensive for mediocre performance, so that was out.

I bought the EGO 765 CFM blower for the same price as this deal, which at 56V x 5 Ah stores a whole-lotta-juice compared to this thing. Night and day difference, although the EGO is certainly heavier it's superior in every way. Highly recommend.

I used both an 8 Ah HO battery and the 5 Ah HO battery from the deal you're responding to, and there was no difference in power. All the recent deals for this blower come with the HO batteries, AFAIK. This is a good accessory blower for small jobs and a mediocre-at-best yard blower.

It's not that great of a deal. It would be if the price were lower (i.e. $229 or something like that), but as has been indicated, this is $80 more than the deal with 2x 5AH batteries & charger for $199.. $80's kind of a steep premium to pay for 8+6AH over 5+5.. although the 8/6AH batteries would be better for this blower.

5.0 batteries are different cell architecture, they're dime a dozen. Swing by and and I'll give them out for free. HDs are by far more valuable, 6.0 is perfect for smaller hand tools, 8.0 is great for larger hand tools and lawn equipment.
The only downside to this deal is no charger if you're just starting out but most of us have few rapid chargers laying around already.
