Because if you don't have a charger at this point, or 5... Idk what to tell you

How is this a good deal to you people? The other deal was two 5 ah batteries, AND a charger for 199.

This is 3 more Ah worth of batteries for 80 more, and doesn't include the charger that the other deal did.

Thanks for posting, though.

The 18650s on this blower are horrible. You really need the 21700s in the HO batteries

I wouldn't invest in an ecosystem that has sizable batteries you can't use on each tool. Ego doesn't have that problem…

Dewalt doesn't, either. You can use 60 volt batteries on the 20 volt tools.

Not being able to use all 18 volt batteries that are big enough on any tool, as well as them going to double battery tools, which will orphan those tools on future platforms from Milwaukee, is a no go from me.
You can use any m18 battery on any tool, some are just better suited for particular uses. Just like you don't need biggest EGO battery to use in weed whacker, you don't need 12.0 HD battery in your drill because it would be pretty heavy but they're all interchangeable and you can pick and choose what you want - lighter or longer lasting battery for your particular use.

As far as 18-20V blowers go, this thing is just okay. The air output all the way up is okay after mowing the lawn or to blow off the patio, but I struggled drying a car with it. I bought the 199 promotion with the 2 x 5 Ah batteries and ended up returning the whole thing, and I've got quite a few Milwaukee 18V tools. The blower is fine for light work, but was inferior even to my Kobalt 40V blower that's 7 years old with about the same weight.

The double battery Milwaukee is hilariously expensive for mediocre performance, so that was out.

I bought the EGO 765 CFM blower for the same price as this deal, which at 56V x 5 Ah stores a whole-lotta-juice compared to this thing. Night and day difference, although the EGO is certainly heavier it's superior in every way. Highly recommend.
I bought the Milwaukee corded and loving it. Just use 100 ft extension cord

I used both an 8 Ah HO battery and the 5 Ah HO battery from the deal you're responding to, and there was no difference in power. All the recent deals for this blower come with the HO batteries, AFAIK. This is a good accessory blower for small jobs and a mediocre-at-best yard blower.
Its about run time. Check out Torque test channel on YouTube

I think I just bought this same blower with 2x 5ah batteries for $200. I was good with that deal.

5.0 batteries are different cell architecture, they're dime a dozen. Swing by and and I'll give them out for free. HDs are by far more valuable, 6.0 is perfect for smaller hand tools, 8.0 is great for larger hand tools and lawn equipment.
The only downside to this deal is no charger if you're just starting out but most of us have few rapid chargers laying around already.
Oh yeah, I realize 6 ah and 8 ah are better, but the price is almost 40% higher! and no charger? I guess to each his own. I'd take my deal again in a heart beat. But i'm just surprised everyone's so hot on this one. Well, sorta hot on it.

I'm pretty sure the (2) 5 Ah battery & charger deal is not high output...?

That deal is still available 😁
But yes, HD batteries definitely worth much more.

Well, but you can't with Milwaukee, because some will overheat. This mostly applies to their outdoor power tools, which is where Ego comes in. They really dominate the outdoor power tool market.

They do! I used to have EGO set, really nice quality stuff. Milwaukee is behind, can't argue.

I hate to see Milwaukee go the Makita route with the double battery tool thing. Neither one should have done it. They should have just did what Dewalt did years ago, and made a new battery platform that was backwards compatible.

I hate this blower. Those batteries are nice tho. When you consider MSRP or AMP for all the items it's a good deal. The quality and value of the blower itself is terrible. It works, is reliable, but the M18 blowers ARE NOTORIOUS for being battery hogs, WAY more than comparable blowers with similar MPH and CFM ratings. There's something off about its motor design that makes it terribly inefficient. Their 145mph/600cfm blower works better but once again, it hogs batteries like crazy—however you'll get the performance you need. I'd personally opt for the 2x dual battery blower and 2x 6.0ah H/O battery combo if you don't mind trying to resell the extra blower.
