I personally love LG and Dolby vision, but I refuse to pay more for inferior tech, so I'll try this Samsung out. A lot of people say hdr 10 and dv are not distinguishable.

Also worth notating, this is a gen 2 qd oled panel. Same as the s95c meaning this panel easily outperforms the LG C2 in brightness and colors. I guess the price is lower cause they don't have to pay DV licensing fees.. I wonder how much those are per set?

UPDATE: I CANCELLED MY ORDER!
I went to bestbuy again for the third time in the past 3 days and decided to go with the LG G3. Color accuracy is just better with LG IMO and I don't want to spend hours tinkering and calibrating the Samsung display which may be better, but just isn't dialed in out of the box. Also, I don't think I can live w/out DV... I saw a few comparisons and we are talking about 12 bit color depth vs 10 bit. Their is a difference.

This has been this price for weeks, but good reminder to refresh the cart for lower price.

" A lot of people say hdr 10 and dv are not distinguishable." = Even the true audiophiles who repeatedly say it all the time. There isn't a single admired expert review that prefers DV, or that it should be any deal breaker.

Dumb of Samsung to lose so many potential sales? Yeah. At the same time, it's great for consumers with lower prices.

The app is a mess, you can't pick the S90C 77'' and it defaults to the S95C. Search doesn't work. I thought about adding to cart from the browser but signing in doesn't work either lol

Sure oled is not qd-oled, but for reliability at the moment, I personally would go with LG than Samsung

You have to do it from the mobile app and an agent has to help add it to your cart

You get an extra warranty and the s90c 77 panel has better reliability since it's gen 2 qd oled.

Have they added the ability to disable Samsung TV Plus yet? All smart TV software is less than great, but it's likely that I won't ever buy a Samsung again. Their OS is so completely terrible.

I had to drop off my WiFi and I use a specific DNS provider, so I switched that off. As soon as I hit pure mobile, it worked for me.

NextDNS with a bunch of ad blocking lists and others turned on, so I stopped using it and just used whatever my mobile provider gives me.
