I have one and not too happy with it. Without the subscription its useless. You will only get alerts for motion WHEN it works and no snap shot so if you get an alert and your slow to get to it what ever was moving is gone from the live view.

If you don't use the sync module, yes. Otherwise, you can put a 256gb+ flash drive in and not worry about it. It's amazing how many people buy stuff without any research at all.

I instantly get alerts, clips, pictures etc.... I Even have 1 camera setup just to watch for wildlife and it even picks up moths flying. Just because you're doing it wrong doesn't make it bad.

I also have Blink cameras, at two houses actually. The recording isn't continuous and it struggles with straight on motion if something is coming directly at the camera instead of side to side or at an angle but overall it works very well and I feel safe using it to protect my houses. It's a nice system and since this is cheaper than the 3-pack I just bought at Walmart a few weeks ago I'll be getting this one instead and returning the others. Thanks!

The sync model with a flash drive is what I rock for my doorbell. Works freat. I think it takes an extra second for the feed to show up. I don't have the outdoor camera, but I want to get one to use as a trail cam. How are these?
