Keep trying with apple support. Some are less knowledgable vs others. Worked for me on the second attempt and warranty got updated to 1 year. First one was a nightmare, with the rep and the supervisor having no clue inspite of saying that it comes with a 1 yr apple warranty. Btw, I bought off of amazon(seller is woot). Comes down to the same price(when you consider 5% cashback), but better return period of 90 days compared to 15 at microcenter

Guys I got a silver 14 mbp 8 core 14gpu 16/512 for 1079 at my micro center. I'm on way to pick it ip now

Is it worth it? I'm selling my m1 air 8/256gb for 600 and paying 500 or so to upgrade to this.

Just snagged this deal. Thing is in great condition, 5 charge cycles. Great value. Saving about 1K compared to a new M3P is also nice

I'm about to find out my charge cycles, i just powered it up, starting it up with Time Machine.

So excited!

Which one did you get? I nabbed the 1199 model on 10% open box,they literally opened box and put it back. (As far as I'm aware) will find out charges in a second

Well I am sad ish, 14 cycle count on power. 100% though.

Just got a 2nd open box for 1079. I bought gf the aafes m2 for 800 and she said she wanted to pay 350 to upgrade to my mbp and low beholds 2nd open box

Wondering if they are opening them so they can sell them faster
They have 9 left

What's the difference between OpenBox and Certified-PreOwned? Is it shorter than 1 yr apple warranty or not certified tested? Can you buy Apple Warranty for OpenBox?

Basicallly I am kind of asking why OpenBox is even cheaper than Certified-PreOwned...what's the catch/risk if any?

No. It's the same exact deal, someone bought it and returned, didn't even use them. My gf has 5 count on battery

Micro center took another 10% off

Both laptops was updated w apple. 1 year full warranty, and I get additional warranty using my visa platinum.

So we got the 1199 mbp silver for 1079 each


Apple doesn't care that it's open box. They extended both our warranties to full 1 year. Mine expires Nov 18 2024 and hers Nov 19 2024


I think someone bought mine returned to rebuy it cheaper tbh. Smart move if next door type person. But yeah, got 2 of em. Look flawless

Listing my little legion Lenovo 3050ti I bought for 360 from Walmart for 500 to help cover my cost
