I have a trick. Well not a trick. Just a process.

1. Pick a location that doesn't have much movement. Back of arm or anywhere that doesn't naturally jiggle to much.

2. Make it clean. Like exceptionally clean and free from anything. Like I don't even use soaps with perfumes or fragrances of any sort the day I'm going to apply one. And I alcohol swap very vigorously to make sure there is not random. Dead skin still there.

3. Make it really really dry. I mean I'll sit in front a fan for a few mins after applying the alcohol swap for extra cleaning.

4. Apply sensor as described in the packaging.

5. Once it is in /on hold your hand on it for a few. No one talks about this but the glue is sort of heat activated.

With this process I went from maybe loosing every other sensor and more often in the summer to wearing the same one for up to 25 days.
Use skin prep wipes to area prior to placing device
Ask again. Say you are willing to pay out of pocket. They most likely denied you because they know they can't get the prior authorization from your insurance. You insurance probably requires you to be on insulin.

If you opt for Libre 3, your max 30 day cost should be $75 if you have insurance that will not cover them. It's a manufacturer thing.

Or, for $100 you can get a 6 mo rx from a website called Tastermonial. That's only for the rx though. They will send it to Costco, cvs, Walgreens, or even Amazon. Amazon definitely applies the manufacturer promo to make it $75.

Interesting. A medical tape such as Blenderm or Tegaderm might help to keep it steady. All in all, if it sticks it does worked well.

They say it's. But they are not extendable like the g6. So I'm a pass for now.

They sell bands on Amazon that keep these on. I bought one for my wife in case the bandage doesn't adhere, but it hasn't been necessary. The tech who showed her how to put these on stressed that you clean the area with an alcohol swab and let it dry, then use that glue swab and let it dry, and then apply the G7. She hasn't had any issues, tho.

I like my g6 and my insurance covers it directly so...

(I'm unsure I'd trust best buy to keep medical info confidential).
