Same, the curved 27 "1000R version is on sale at Newegg for $239.99. It's was a great performing monitor. I had the 32" version, but I had to return it due to 3 dead pixels popping up. Due to that, I'm going to go with the Omen 27QS at Best Buy for $300. Is it smaller, yes, but I could see Ppi difference on the above-mentioned 32" version I had to return.

fwiw this monitor is hdr1000 per acer's site although peak brightness is 350 nit. the part number matches amazon's exactly.
