That's not how it works you have to return the same one you bought from that place. One time I bought two airtags from best buy and needed to return one when I went there the guy scanned it and said it's not the one attached to your receipt even though it was mew unopened thet didn't took it and needed the same one because the receipt is attached to the serial number at many places for these items.

Thanks for the info...but I don't think it's devices because I currently have 16 Airtags and 4 devices on the Find My app right now. I'm assuming it's 16 Airtags (what they list as "items" under the Find My app).

The AirTag is only for iPhone owners in an area with sizable iOS users. It updates its location by anonymously pinging those devices.

If you're on Android I think Tile and Chipolo are your best options and work similarly.

If you're in a secluded area out in the wilderness then you should probably look at GPS trackers. Those are larger, more expensive and usually require a monthly subscription service not unlike a cellular plan.

Can someone verify that this is actually $70 in the store. The price did drop today but not down to $70 anywhere that I can see on their website. it's an hour drive to get to my local Staples and would prefer not to drive there to find out. It's still $89.

Yeah I just opted to get the Amazon one and use card for 6% off. Basically $75 for 4 pack. I don't feel like driving 13 minutes to the store near me for saving $5 and change on tax. Don't want to mess with people and risk no stock or wait in lines.

I foresee a long line, and it going OOS. Also I suspect there are others that pre-buy before this week hoping for price adjustment. Although I am not sure how price adjustment will work because of black friday deal. [Some retailers will not price adjust "black friday deals", even though it may happen a few days before/after BF] Dealing with retail employees and CS these days are not easy, long lines & traffic jams, parking end of year is no fun either...

Why on earth would you drive two hours round-trip just to save $10-15 off the normal sale price?

just wondering if the $10 coupon you got from amazon return could apply to the item. I returned something at staples yesterday and they gave me a 30-10 coupon (expired the same day)
