Not to be very critical, if you needed the tool for an immediate job, do what you have to do.
But as a deal this isn't a good price if you are bargain hunting.

The fact that this hammer drill got cheap fast, makes me believe this model wasn't a hit with people. Did people not like the new clutch?

You are right. I did need it for an immediate job. Judging by the comments i will return it. Should i get it from amazon? The comments in that thread say it could come from a non authorized seller!

I have one from Amazon , it is fine.
As far as warranty if you ever need it, it was a gift and Milwaukee just wants the serial #. I think it is like $90 atm on Amazon.
