Yeah I am dealing with this BS now. It's false how they advertise it. Because if you trade in, it will take the full trade in value off of the full price, then apply the 25% discount. This brings it back to what the sale price is almost every day. Now if you don't have a trade in, it could be good for you, when combination with EDU discount

EPP doesn't seem to take right the trade in value off. It puts a magical number lol

EDIT for s23 ultra, it is 524.99 after $500 trade in (s21 ultra) instead of $899-500 = 399, so EPP trade in value is buggy AF

Just tried with S22 Ultra, and I have $299 before tax after trade ($600 trade-in). $100 military discount. I could also get $38 back from my Chase card (15% offer, capped). Tax is probably $60 since they tax the pre-trade amount.

Hmm, that's the best I've seen, but I'm trying to save money. Damn it.

Yes, they never give you full trade in value if there's a sale. I only get $600 s22u instead of $800 trade in value. It's bs how they do this

My own horror story attached on Samsung Care+ services on the Z Flip 5. Went to get my screen fixed, their vendor first couldn't get the part for weeks. Then they couldn't do it and told me to call Samsung so I can send it in. Sent it in via their own box and then a few days later got an email saying they're returning it without fixing. I called in and they said the phone got scratches everywhere the hinge broke everything was messed up. All this because of one small scratch in the inner screen. So then I told their support team what happened and they said since they have a replacement on stock, they can send me a new one. 3 days later, got another call and they said they don't have one and can refund me only so I took that option. So in total I spent $33 for 3 months of Samsung Care+ amd $29 once since they refunded me the other 3 times i tried to him it done. And now I have not had that phone for a whole month and still pending that refund.

Tldr: Samsung Care+ sucks don't get it no matter how good of a deal it is.

I think I already signed up for that. I'm a military spouse so I'll need you to address me by my partners rank. Sure we met after they left the service. But that doesn't mean I didn't sacrifice! 😭

Samsung is misleading ppl. S23+ is 749.99 with govt discount. Minus s21 trade in value $400. Total should be $349.99. Nope. Total 449.99. (599.99 deduct 25%) Cause the govt discount is after the trade in value from 599.99 (999.99 - 400). But if u just buy the phone u get it for 749.99...so misleading. even with 449.99 the checkout total is diff. the customer service rep told me after ordering do screen shot of the 449.99 and will refund diff from 562.49 before taxes.
