With some things like this that don't expire, I have had good luck by checking every trip to the grocery store at the dented can clearance shelf, and buying things like this I would use every time I find them in a ripped box marked down.

If you are lucky enough to have a supermarket with a dented can markdown shelf, once you build up stock, you don't need to think about retail prices.
