I got one of these as a gift over 20 years ago. They are very handy. Especially the clamping feature. I would definitely buy one, especially at this price.

Is this a good deal? I've some of these on sale before. Not sure if the size is good for most jobs.
Probably depends on what you want to do with it. I had one and was never satisfied with it, just didn't work for me to do any work on top of. Might use it occasionally for edge clamping small stuff but found it too low, too small and more of a hassle so preferred to just throw whatever scrap sheet good I had around on some saw horses. It also developed random mold spots underneath the top coat over the first winter I had it, was very odd.
HD has WM225 for 98 and this one, WM225-A for 50. Anyone knows the difference?
I bought the HD deal last week (WM225-A). The packaging was a thick heavy, plain brown cardboard box with no branding or discerning text on the outside. They put shipping labels on the box and sent it.
Both the workbench itself and the instruction manual state its a WM225 and nowhere is the "A" referenced. Side by side with my older one, its identical in construction.
My guess is that the A model is specifically made for these ~$50 online sales where the box is discrete and ready to slap a label on and ship. You walk into a brick and mortar and pick one off the shelf itll be in a bright orange B&D branded thinner cardboard box which would have to be put into another box to ship.

My Dad has an original version, probably about 45 years old.
