I bought them for a Mazda 6. The Mazda uses 225/55/17. Walmart would not install them on my car. I went to discount tire with the tires and they installed them with a warranty for $209
These are the longest lasting and best traction tires I have ever owned. Not overpriced for what you get lasting over 60,000 miles. I also have never had them rebalanced in 6 years so that has also saved me money and time replacing tires.
Rebalancing actually saves you time and money because it evenly wears the tire across the contact point. It also improves the safety of it as well. What you explained is counter intuitive to the effect that you said you want to get.
also such long treadlife (hard rubber) means the tire performance sucks. Less traction means it will trip your traction control and your engine will cut power to the wheels more often.
this is mainly for grandmas driving in the city under 40mph.
My car takes 225/55/17. Should I get these or the Goodyear Reliant that are $87 each?
