My Wags trip was good until the last transaction when the RR for Crest didn't print for some unknown reason. My favorite RR is still doing its thing. The OS body wash dq is really picky. It doesn't work on the Pure Sport but it does work on Gentleman's Blend. Surprisingly, the $3 Crest mouthwash is still in stock. So is Venus. I couldn't believe it. Then I went over to RA and I found out which store is closing. It was the store that I can't stand. I'm friends with the SM at the store that I went to and she said that she was confident that RA wasn't going anywhere.

This isn't what I'd call a great Walgreens deal but if you want some cheap pods and don't want to spend very much cash

Tide power pods $12.99 - $3.50 dq
Crest mouthwash $3 x 2 - $3/2 dq
= $12.48
Pay $10 W Cash + $2.48
Get $3 RR + $5RR (from the 5/15 promo)
Cost is $4.48 for all 3 items. I could do YT math but I'm not going to bother lol.

Here's another one

Old Spice deodorant $13/2 - $5/2 dq
Crest mouthwash $3 x 2 - $3/2 dq
= $11
Pay $10 W Cash + $1
Get $4RR + $3RR + $5RR (from the 5/15 promo)
This is a $1 mm.

The Venus deal isn't that great by itself

Since the $5RR from the 5/15 promo rolls, you can use those to pay for some of this transaction and still get your RR's. I used four $5RR's.

I'm sure that there are better ways to do the deal than what I posted. I also don't have a 7/40 cat which would make the deal a $5mm.

Merry Christmas everybody! I hope that Santa brings us some good coupons next year and they scan at the register (you have to have both lol). I may have to stick my head in Walmart tomorrow to see what they have left in gift sets. I don't plan on going to the after-Christmas sale on Tuesday morning (if they're having one this year) but I would like to see what they have.

I'm kind of hoping he brings me a good exit strategy! I'm tired of CVS' shenanigans and am not impressed with Wags.

Both CVS stores I went to today were hopping busy. One had like five people working. The other one had two people working.

I think there's lots of people who have NO clue how expensive stuff is. The only place my hubby has been shopping since probably 2019 is Lowes/Home Depot and the liquor store. I don't think he's set foot in a grocery or drug store in that time.

I believe I've said it before, my favorite comeback was always that even if the store's price was the same as mine (which I knew it wasn't - mine was lower) they would still have to pay sales tax at the store. That would quiet most folks. And like you said, if they still buy from the stores when prices go up I would think they'll continue to buy from you. If not, the next person will. And the person who would not will probably be back in a week or two when they realize they can't get products for the same prices you sell at. I certainly wouldn't stress yourself out about other folks complaining but feel free to vent here - it's a great place to do so and hopefully it helps relieve some of your stress. Happy holidays!
