No, getting into an argument was not my point at all. As I've said, I'm considering trying weed but am very hesitant to do so which means I appreciate any and all information. I can go from there and do my own research.

And you should continue to post; since your reading comprehension is not so good others can point out something you may have gotten wrong or question a situation like I did regarding kratom which I had never heard of. I know I appreciate someone giving me info about meds, etc.

I tried the free Rockstar from Vons. It's awful. One of the worst drinks that I've ever had. Maybe if I added in some sugar it would be ok but as it is it's awful.

For me an important consideration would be that D9 is regulated if I were deciding between trying two different Ds. I would still only buy from a reputable source, no matter which I decided I would try.

Good luck with your issues. My insurance decided to pull my medicine from it's covered list as of 4/1 so I may be heading out of remission. It's pretty stressful but I'm trying not to be too stressed out.

I don't think that the insurance company should be able to second guess your doctor unless they can prove that what he's doing isn't helping you to get better. If your drug is too expensive, the insurance company should negotiate with the drug company rather than dropping your coverage. If there's a cheaper alternative, you shouldn't have to switch unless it works just as well as what you're currently taking.

I once would have agreed wholeheartedly about a Universal Health Care system. In the last few years, I have been exposed to more feedback about the Universal Health Care systems in Canada and the UK that suggests some real kinks that make the system equally imperfect.

Some of my cousins in Canada wait weeks to be seen by their primary doctors, and when the primary doctor thinks something requires a specialty doctor, they can wait months. And the cancer diagnosis and treatment King Charles is getting in the UK has highlighted the amount of time the general public in the UK wait to have a cancer diagnosis confirmed - much less actually treated (or even to have a treatment plan developed).

I wish there was a perfect answer, because neither our current system or the Universal Health Care systems are working well.

There's so much waste that happens with our current medical system. It shouldn't be that hard to fix but I don't think that there's any desire to fix it.

Agree. Just goes to show how everyone's insurance is different. I've often told a pharmacy not to refill a script (I normally use mail order) and have never had any filled that I didn't want filled. Also, I have taken two pills from an old bottle if a dosage is doubled with my doctor's approval. In fact, I once took a pill that I had to stop as it did the opposite of what it was supposed to do and when a larger dose was prescribed for my husband he asked the doctor if it was okay to just take two of the pills I had to use them up. Doctor said sure.

I agree there is no perfect answer or probably system for that matter, but I don't care for the fact with our current system everyone can be treated differently. I don't believe that's the way things should be for a country's citizens.

And I believe I've mentioned this before with regards to waiting; I live in the city with the nickname 'Med City' and we have plenty of long waits. I just called my primary care doctor early last week and got an appointment for the 29th so nothing quick about that. I believe wait times often depend on number of medical personnel versus population in the area.
