As far as laughing during the debate, it took about 29 minutes for me to laugh out loud at something a candidate said.
Did you get through it without throwing anything at the TV? Hope so.

I was kind of stunned that "Gavin Newsom" on Kimmel's skit was played by Meyer's brother Josh! I thought he looked familiar so looked it up. The guy playing Vance sure looks like what I'd think Haley Joel Osmont would look like as a grown up, too.
DH went to bed before our go-to Colbert's video was available so we'll watch that tonight, as well as looking for Meyer's - tyvm for that idea!
I've read Heather Cox Richardson's newsletter and a few other Substacks, my favorite cartoonist had an interesting David v Goliath take (attached)
then I read all the new grocery ads, added my DQs and now it's morning so I think I'd better let this go and hit the hay.
