If CVS really wants to go universal, they should let us use our EB's at any store in the coupon network. After all, store money is really just a coupon. I wouldn't mind doing a Covergirl deal at CVS and spending all of the money I made at Ralphs.

Hi. I am in need of laundry detergent. Is Persil a good brand? I usually use Tide or All but haven't seen good deals on either. TIA

All and Persil are owned by the same company (Henkel). You can do a mm detergent deal this week at CVS on All detergent, Gain Flings, and Downy beads. I've been doing the $50 gift card deal to bring my detergent cost down but I've heard that the multi-brand gift card that includes CVS might not be working this week.

I was in CVS today and I tried to use a Centrum ip from the Centrum website but it came up as invalid. I'm not sure how that's possible but that's what happened. There's an All ip in addition to the dq but it's anybody's guess if the ip will work. There are usually Ibotta offers on Persil. Persil is a good product but Henkel does a lousy job of marketing it. A couple of weeks ago the 100 oz Persil and 150 oz Purex (another Henkel product) were free at CVS so it's hard to feel good about paying this week for the 40 oz Persil.

Do you do the Staples ink thing? You can get a good deal if you have 10 inks plus a pen to recycle (in store).

BTW..I got some decent coupons in the mail today from P&G, addressed to "current resident", so don't know what provoked those.

I had a decent deal on Persil at Acme. On sale for $5.99, $2 DQ and cashier pushed through $2 IP. I paid $2, not too bad since I needed it.

The Staples ink recycling + any tech recycling (old phone cases, used batteries, etc). The new way they're doing it you get the rewards very quickly. Laundry detergent, ziplock, dawn, cascade are things I go for with the rewards.

I know that I said that I wasn't going to post but I have to vent about something that happened at CVS yesterday. I was trying to do a FD but nothing was working correctly. The cashier kept on telling me that I should pay with my $30 EB's instead of the digital coupons that weren't working. Finally, everything came off like it was supposed to and I did the transaction. None of this was my fault. It was typical Sunday morning stupidity at CVS thank to their wonderful IT dept. I needed to do a second transaction of one item and the cashier started giving me attitude. She said that she was very busy and I'd have to wait for her to fill the pick and pack orders before she could ring me up. I think that pick and pack is their term for in-store pick-up. Excuse me but I'm a customer in the store and she's telling me that I'm going to have to wait for her to fill the online orders and this is after I've just spent $100 with her. Um, no, this isn't happening. Fortunately for her, the SM heard this and came up and apologized and rang me up. If I had been him, I would've fired her on the spot. You can't tell a customer that you can't help him no matter how busy you are. All I can say is that CVS is turning into a total joke. They put their in-store pick-ups in a rack by the register that everybody has access to and somebody can just take the bag and walk out the door and then the person who paid for it will have to prove that he didn't get it.

I know it does not feel right. Evidently, there is a clock that starts when the order dings into the store and they have a super limited period of time to complete it in order to keep to corporate's requirements. I have been chatting with an employee before when they tell me they have to get it done with 'x' period of time and I'm welcome to walk around the store with them while they pick it up. I don't remember what 'x' is.

Thank you, I don't know this but it's still totally wrong. Every customer that walks into the store deserves the respect and full attention of the clerk. It doesn't matter if I'm easy and paying with cash or I'm difficult because my digital coupons aren't working correctly. If an online customer is more important than a customer in the store, then CVS should close their stores. I spent well over $1000 at CVS on Sunday. Another CVS store got the majority of my business because they treated me with respect and valued me as a customer. The cashier at the first store treated me like I was dirt. Like I was an inconvenience for her. Like she had more important things to do. Like fill a $5 online order that the person is doing because there's a 30% off promotion while I'm paying full price for the same thing at the store. I'm so sick of this bullshit.

PSA: was just reading on IG, some folks that got Old Spice deo about a week ago at Walmart for the shopkick - points are being revoked. I remember seeing photos & photos of Old Spice last week too.

@ this point, even though I didn't get Old Spice, I'm going to wait to redeem for a GC. I want this all to be resolved first before I attempt to redeem. Looks like some folks are having issues with redeeming for GC/pp.

Was thinking about getting Huggies Wipes @ CVS cuz of shopkick/ibotta but saw mention that that could be a sk.issue too.

What's the deal with SK/Ibotta on Huggies wipes? I bought a ton of them yesterday in an attempt to reduce my EB's (it didn't work). Target has a better deal on them if you buy the 11 pack and wait until it's part of the 15/50 deal. I was running low on wipes and needed something to add to my 10/70 deals which is why I got them at CVS. I don't do SK/Ibotta but I'm curious what the offer was.

(2) Huggies Wipes 192ct 8.99 BOGO

Get: $1 ibotta and 800 shopkick ($3.40)
Net: $4.79/2, $2.39 per
When I was comparing CVS vs Target. Had gotten some @ Target a few weeks ago when there'd been a $3 DQ on a $6.79 - 112ct. This weeks' CVS price is better.
