It's a QD OLED. It's the best panel on the market. Firmware might be bested by the Sony A95k or A95L. Check the prices on those devices and tell me this isn't a good deal.

These are very well known to have quality control issues. That's why you frequently see Samsung's 55" QD-OLEDs on sale for less than regular OLEDs from LG and Sony. As long as you get a good one, you're solid, but these have a much higher defect rate than LG and Sony OLEDs.
