Unless the unit is using huge amounts of electricity for another purpose instead of the heating coil, a 1500w heater is the all the same. At that point it's just physics.

I use the 1000W one with WiFi to heat my bathroom. It works well and heats the room quickly. Nice to be able to tell Alexa to turn it on/off. I bought it from Amazon Warehouse for less than $40, looked like new, so this isn't a great price for the 1000W without WiFi.

Own one. The backlight on the display went out on it within a few months, but that isn't really needed. Have it in the master bathroom that is diagonal to the furnace in the basement, furthest possible room from the furnace. Turn it on in the winter and it maintains the temp in the master bath so we don't have cold room when coming out of shower. Appeased the wife who wanted to redo our whole hvac system to warm up the bathroom.

They are ETL listed fwiw. I have the 1500W WiFi version, and have completely torn it down, inspected the internals, and even flashed my own firmware to the MCU. I would have liked to see a beefier power cord, but 16ga still meets code and 3' isn't going to see much of a voltage drop either way. Other than that, there weren't any glaring issues on the safety side.

To sever any reliance on the Tuya cloud servers, keep everything local, and customize functionality. This makes sure the heater still works even if the internet goes down, and allows me to use a separate temperature sensor in the room for better controls.
