I wonder what changed in the laws of physics?
Unless the unit is using huge amounts of electricity for another purpose instead of the heating coil, a 1500w heater is the all the same. At that point it's just physics.
I use the 1000W one with WiFi to heat my bathroom. It works well and heats the room quickly. Nice to be able to tell Alexa to turn it on/off. I bought it from Amazon Warehouse for less than $40, looked like new, so this isn't a great price for the 1000W without WiFi.

A full set of elements for either the 1000W [ews-products.com] or 1500W [ews-products.com] units are only $15.

1000W units use 2x 500W elements.
1500W units use 2x 750W elements.
And just goes to show i never bothered replacing the elements in my eden pure. Its just cheaper to buy a new one of OPs or just get a brand new mica heater that doesnt use elements. But thanks for posting that its only $15 bucks to replace the elements, thats a hella deal and worth it down the line Smilie

Own one. The backlight on the display went out on it within a few months, but that isn't really needed. Have it in the master bathroom that is diagonal to the furnace in the basement, furthest possible room from the furnace. Turn it on in the winter and it maintains the temp in the master bath so we don't have cold room when coming out of shower. Appeased the wife who wanted to redo our whole hvac system to warm up the bathroom.

No mention of it being UL certified. Recommendation is nobody should buy this.

They are ETL listed fwiw. I have the 1500W WiFi version, and have completely torn it down, inspected the internals, and even flashed my own firmware to the MCU. I would have liked to see a beefier power cord, but 16ga still meets code and 3' isn't going to see much of a voltage drop either way. Other than that, there weren't any glaring issues on the safety side.

Why did you use your own firmware? What port did you use to access it?

To sever any reliance on the Tuya cloud servers, keep everything local, and customize functionality. This makes sure the heater still works even if the internet goes down, and allows me to use a separate temperature sensor in the room for better controls. (The built-in temp sensor will read a higher temperature when the heater is in use and turn off the heater prematurely, even though the room hasn't actually reached the setpoint yet.)

I didn't use a "port". I connected directly to the MCU and flashed via serial connection. You might be able to use Tuya Cloudcutter to flash OTA, but I can't confirm personally.

I used this to heat up my basement entertainment area. You can pair it with an outlet thermostat. It works pretty well, just looks a bit odd

This has a thermostat

I have this in my bathroom. One thing I don't like is how long it takes for it to warm up the room. I would set it for 78, it will constantly click off way below 78 and click back in. I don't feel a fan so I'm guessing it just radiates the room. If I knew what I knew now, I would get one with a fan that would heat up the bathroom fast

It has a fan. Maybe yours didn't work

Had the the wifi model for a little over 2 years now. Comes with a template to drill and mount onto a wall. Heats up well but you need to set it a few degrees higher for the auto shutoff since it gets the temperature closer to the unit itself. Cloud features go through Tuya so it may hook up with an existing app if your other devices go thru that. Home Assistant integration also goes through that and is a pain to set up.

Bought the 1000 watt wifi for $100 at BB 2 months ago for my kids bedroom to prepare for winter. Think I might jump for the higher wattage for way cheaper and move this to my office! I already have Tuya setup for other devices in Home Assistant so this showed up instantly to integrate with my setup!
