I was excited, I thought it was a torch, that ran off batteries (ignorant of me I know), but disappointed that it's just a fan. Why not just use a leaf blower or your lungs (as just pointed out. Or, if it's for the camping factor, use your air pump…just sayin.

A telescoping, hollow car antenna (aka 'fire straw') is the best for small fires (wood stoves, campfires, etc.) since it's so easy to direct the flow of air. IMO.

I use heat gun. It works well at home or if you have electricity.

If you were a cub scout or up, you don't need this...

I have one of these, it's honestly not worth it. The airflow is just too low. I now use a blower for an inflatable costume, it moves considerably more air.

This product seems like the answer to a question nobody asked.

+1 to this. Product called Pocket Bellows is that idea but collapses to about 2" long, with a wider end that means stronger air output. I don't camp without it. Don't have to stick your face down in there & get a face full of smoke.

I've made hundreds of campfires in all kinds of conditions (rain, snow, etc.) and the Pocket Bellows is what you want:

Sometimes the simplest solution is the best.
