I just saw this, but as of this writing, the trade-in value for a pixel 7 pro is only $250, which is pretty sad for their most recent flagship phone!
The price is a joke for a mid-range device from Google.
Yeah they better up their trade-in values. Typing this from my 6a I got last year for free with trade-in of 5a.

I guess this confirms there will be no official sales on the Pixel 7 or the 7 Pro. I got in on the 7a deal a week ago, but have not opened it in case something better emerged; looks unlikely.

Pixels are NOT flagship. Only time to get these phones is when they have decent trade-ins otherwise not worth the price.
From experience. They've taken solid pics

Pixels biggest issue is they don't hold their value, but once or twice a year they increase trades across the board and you get good bang for your buck. I purchased a 3A for $300 at launch and 3 years later I traded it in for $300 and got a 6A with buds for basically nothing.

I struggle with other Android devices that aren't clean Pixels. It's just an easier, more user friendly experience and comes with a great camera.
The popular Pixel 6a deal with free pixel buds was for $450 and then they had good trade-in values. I wouldn't say you got it for nothing with your trade-in of pixel 3a. I got the pixel 6a and olive pixel buds. I received $295 for a locked iPhone SE 2020. Pixel 3a and 4a had $300 value.

$487.73 (phone and buds and tax) - $295 trade-in

I liked the Pixel 6a (had from launch) but I recently changed to Samsung Galaxy A54. I also picked up the straight talk iphone se 2022 deal from Walmart this past Wednesday. I like these pretty good midranger deals.

Not Google thinking they can charge Apple prices and rip people off with trade in values. Face palm.

Last year I upgraded from Pixel 6 to 7 for roughly $50. This year it looks like roughly $400 to go from 7 to 8 if the trade-in values don't change. Does Google really think there won't be a huge dropoff in people upgrading this year?

S23 ultra is an absolute power house of a phone. As a pixel 8 pro user, it's UI and camera. The shots on the camera can't be beat for $800 before trade in.
They are that much better on the pixel 8 pro? I love the shots on my Note10+ so just wondering if it's really that much difference in camera between S23 ultra and pixel 8 pro.

Trade in values will most likely not go up until December. Service provider Google partners were given a 75% off code for the 8 Pro making it $250 which is why the trade in of the 7 Pro is currently $250. Once these codes expire, trades will probably skyrocket.

It's laughable how google charges flagship prices for their pixel phones. A phone with a tensor chip is midrange at best.
Pixel phones have never been about having the fastest chip or best hardware. It's the experience, vanilla Android, quick updates, feature drops, Android as it was meant to be experienced. I feel like with these Black Friday deals, these are the prices the phones should cost anyway at least the regular price, they should match last years Pixel 7 series prices, idk.

What? You can't even get the cheapest iPhone 15 for $699 let alone for $550 to match the Pixel 8 regular price or this deal. As for the 8 Pro, the 15 Pro Max starts at $1,200.

Guess I'm waiting for the S24. Pixel 6 has had a good run.

I figured it must be something like this. The trade offers for bill credits on postpaid have been crazy.

I was thinking about getting S23 ultra 256gb. Should I get this instead or just wait for S23 ultra to drop to this price? I think it was on sale close to $850 during prime day.
It's 899 at Samsung app right now
