You can get it much cheaper on Samsung.com via the student or employee portal plus the Chase credit card offer of 15% or 20% cash back plus 10% from a cash back siteout there. In all around $20.
The chase offer depends on the card you have. I have 15% on the freedom and 20% on the sapphire preferred.
I got the Select version a few months back but haven't had a chance to use it much yet. Eventually it'll be installed in my Samsung A54 phone for taking and viewing photos and videos, including HD and possibly 4k. Would the Pro version offer any advantages for such a situation or is it overkill, and if the latter where is the Pro version most suitable, e.g. SLR-style and 4k video cameras, drones, etc.? I'm willing to get this if it'll help, but only if so.

Do you have a link? I see this going for $43 there so even with these discounts you don't get to $20.
...Ok clicking on the item to bring up the product page shows that the current price is actually $34.39, so with 20% off it's $27.51, and with an additional 10% off it's $24.76, so the base price you referred to is a bit cheaper. Also, where can one find that additional 10% off?
...Ok I'm an idiot. The version I saw for $34.39 includes a USB reader. There's another version with just an SD adapter going for $25.59, which after 20% off is $20.47 and after an additional 10% off is $18.42
Amazing deal assuming that the card isn't flaky the way that some of their M.2 SSDs have been.
...Ok tried to buy it on the Samsung site, on 2 different browsers, using a Chase Freedom card that had a 20% off offer, but it kept telling me invalid credit card. I tried auto and manual fill, nothing worked. As a dummy test I tried a Capital One MC, but still no dice. I'll try again tomorrow.

Where are these chase offers for Samsung? Don't see it in the app for my sapphire preferred

Can you provide more info on this? It's about 36 after tax with the discount and while cashback is up to 10% it's only 3% for memory. So it's about $8 off after the cashback and 20% chase cashback. So $28 which is about the price Amazon had it a few weeks/month or so ago? Genuinely curious if there's another option I'm missing.

If you click on Samsung, its the same price at 31.99. Then employee or student discount gets it down to around $26. Then the rest of cash back get it down to $20.

Ain't this a Crock and kick in the teeth toActive Military and Veterans. I just got told by Samsung (I have screenshots) that as a Veteran I am required to PAY a secondary business in order to be recognized as a Veteran AND THEN receive any discounts from Samsung.
Veterans Advantage costs $4.95'per week, $50+ per year, or a "special" deal of $150+ for three years...if you live that long.
I had registered with Samsung years ago and now they are no longer supporting Vets IMHO.
Sorry for the rant but while I appreciate recognition for service and do use what's offered but I absolutely have deep dispain for others trying to make a profit off of others, especially Active Military and Veterans.
WHOOPS.
In my rush I failed to mention that when you go to Samsung and log in under the Military Veterans Discount Program that the price for this is under $26 BUT when you add to your cart it jumps to $31.99 as I am not a paid member....
