Right. And the cheaper deal has a 4060 card vs. a 4070. It has 16GB RAM vs. 32GB. It has 1 TB of SSD space, whereas the more expensive one has 1TB + 2TB hard drive.

Yeah. The other one is cheaper because the components are cheaper.

Apparently the newest post has a 2 year warranty. Maybe the first was mislabeled.

needs to be a 4080 to be at this price

4070 is going to be superceeded by 4070 ti and 4070 ti super

and its $600 atm so its considered affordable; that makes it $1000 or the rest of the build which is cpu, mobo, case, ram, psu, aesthetics, peripherals etc.

pcbuilder jason recommends to spend at least 1/2 your budget on gpu and you have just gimped yourself on using it most of it on a outgoing platform because intel isnt going to support lga1700 for 15th gen processors most likely unless they do the intel thing and release the same stack

if it had ryzen am5 it would be more temping and more power efficient over time so would pair well with ada love lace gpus but do not buy into this into this price point

The difference is so minimal. You could buy a 2TB drive for less than $100. Also, 32GB RAM is $70. Plus a fraction of barely, if, noticeable of performance on the 4070. You got $550 to put towards those item, plus have the extra old hardwares if you want to resell them.

Yep I bought it then. It's nice. I don't think we're gonna see a better deal than this for a comparable build. The 2TB SSD, no HDD and $50 cheaper but 16GB ram version in newegg was good too. But I can't do everything all over again. Plus costco is a more trustworthy vendor.
