Compare to Lowe's [lowes.com] at $449, and True Value [truevalue.com] at $449.

This seems like a slick price if you don't mind buying an air conditioner in the winter.

Wish this A/C can do heat-pump heat similar to a typical mini-split, so it can be useful in the winter as well. Unfortunately these A/C still do not do heat.

That would be nice. Mini split units cost a whole lot more, though.

This is an insane deal. I got a cashback bump by using an Amazon Prime credit card, said 10% back at checkout.

$356 - $20 coupon - 40 utility rebate and 10% back brings this down to $284 after tax.

Compared to paying 400 this past Summer. Worked great and it's super quiet.
