Man 128gb is pretty low when you have no option to add a SD Card. I feel like 256 has to be new base option.

Yes, I updated the wiki with the relevant parts from their cancellation policy. If they don't budge you can file an FCC complaint. You can also port out your number (to tello for $5) to cancel.
What do you mean by don't budge? As in they stop you from canceling / fully pay off phone before one billing cycle?

Also, does porting out your number allow you cancel before one billing cycle?

That is not true. The device shows up on Myatt app within minutes of activation, allowing self service/same day payoff
So you were able to payoff the phone through the Myatt app? I haven't used the Myatt app before but are you able to proceed through the entire process?

I know sometimes apps can be buggy and they show you can do something but you can't finish the process because of some internal error or something.

So did you chose the monthly payment while ordering the phone? I think most of us did pay upfront to avoid any problems. They should allow you to pay off the device anytime from the account/app and then you should be able to cancel the service. If they don't allow canceling the service you can file a complaint with FCC and they will contact you to resolve it.

I haven't done this yet. Just trying to understand the steps before I purchase as I'm trying to use my Cricket sim for this. I'd also want to pay upfront to avoid any problems.

Still with a Note 10 plus, no issues at all with it but the time may be coming soon to move on...

Yeah pay in full first then cancel the line after you get the phone. Cricket is using ATT so you don't need to unlock the phone technically to use it on Cricket.

Yeah, I just bought a Note 20 Ultra after considering the S23 Ultra. There's not much improvement other than the camera and processing speed but I don't play any games on my phone so the extra processing power is useless to me. Note 20 Ultra is such a good phone.

Yes but I have a Cricket family plan and don't want to pay both a Cricket and ATT plan, so going to pay in full then cancel to unlock.

But after I cancel, am I actually able to just pop in my Cricket sim card already? Do I actually need to wait the full 60 days if I'm using a Cricket sim card?

Does this method, early cancel, work with S23 deal, where we can get $1000 trade in value making the Ultra about $200 before tax? Or does that require a long term contract that cannot be canceled w/i 3 days?
what's the trade in deal?

You can use the cricket SIM card right away as it's works on ATT network. I can't personally confirm it but if you want to double check you can do that after the phone arrives and before cancelling service. At any rate, it's recommended to cancel the service after activating the phone etc so that it's on the ATT system for the cancellation to go through.
